PA Imaging is literally at the forefront of world-wide developments in 3D photo-acoustic ultrasound (3D PAUS) mammography. With this 3D PAUS mammography development, PA Imaging aims to enable harmless, painless and non-invasive breast cancer diagnosis, screening and therapy monitoring for all women, irrespective of age.

Based on these clinical results, at PA Imaging we are currently developing a third generation apparatus, which not only offers 3D photo-acoustics but combines truly 3D ultrasound, removing the last practical barriers (such as reaching improved image depth up to 6cm) to prepare this method to be ready for launch at the breast cancer screening and diagnostics markets.
